No Avon access from K&A

THE failure of the paddles on the bottom gate of a Bath lock has closed access to and from the Avon.

This occured yesterday, Tuesday, so the navigation is closed between Wash House Lock 10 and Bath Top Lock 13, Keith Gudgin tells us.

There is no intimation when a repair will take place, only that the paddle rods are broken.
