Now it's the Rochdale

AFTER this coming Friday access to the Rochdale Canal will be limited.
Boaters will then only be allowed access to the navigation through Tuel Lock on certain days, it being chained up on Mondays and Fridays until further notice, Keith Gudgin reports.
No access after 4pm
However there will be no access after 4pm on the previous days, with no intimation at what time the day after the closure the lock will be available for passage.
This means that all the Pennine waterways are now under restrictions.
For those not familiar with Tuel Lock, it is the start of the eastern end of the Rochdale, with the road tunnel, pictured, leading to the lock.
