Another sinking

ANOTHER narrowboat had to be pumped-out as the owners realised their boat was sinking in the Lee Navigation at Enfield.
The fire service was called out, that quickly brought out pumps to save the stricken boat that was in danger of sinking after being flooded with water, Alan Tilbury tells us.
Overkill
No less than 14 fire crew attended complete with two fire rescue teams—though there was no fire—and three fire engines!
The boat was quickly pumped-out and floated, with it understood the water had come in through the stern tube, with no bilge pump-out in operation.
