Massive fine for not picking up

A DOG owner has been hit with a massive fine of £1,880 for not picking up its poo on a Cornish beach that could have effect on towpath dog walkers.

Kevin Watch, simply left his dog's poo on the beach, making no attempt to remove it, but a 'dog welfare officer' employed by the council saw it all, and pounced, Keith Gudgin tells us.

The officer gave Kevin the chance to go back and remove the mess, but he refused, also refusing to give either his name or address.

But he was traced, and ended up in court, that cost him a total of £1,880!

Should this now apply to our towpaths, they will certainly be a great deal cleaner.
