Trip boat trial at Trent Lock

A TRIP boat has started operating from Trent Lock on a trial basis, with permission given by Canal & River Trust for it to operate.

Passengers will board the boat, Day Dream, from the lock landing stage a boat length from the footbridge, Keith Gudgin tells us.

No permanent sign

The Trust states that this is only on a trial basis so there will be no permanent sign, but an 'A' board whilst it is operating.

It also states 'The craft will only be operating seven days a week'(!)
