Email: Napton delay

It is alright Ann Davies trying to tell us how few boats were held up by the stoppage at Napton on the Wednesday, but there were well over a dozen by Friday at the top.

I had been there all week and by the Friday talking altogether some people were in a desperate situation by the Friday, but I was still held up to let hire boaters through first.

Being a boater for high on 30 years I remember the time I was on Atherstone Flight when a wall collapsed yet British Waterways personnel were there and working the very same day not two days later as in the Napton case, so forget all the congratulations, all those days to attend to a piffling bit of a wall collapse was no cause for congratulations, for if CaRT's own people had not been got rid of, it would have been sorted much more quickly.
