Email: Will the discount continue?

I have no wish to be involved in adverse comments, or not, regarding Sally Ash and her departure.

Nor can I comment meaningfully about her position as the CaRT-nominated Board Member of Drifters.

Her acceptance of free holidays might have been questionable.

However, let us not forget that CaRT 'Friends' are entitled to claim a 15% discount on the costs of bookings made through the Drifters agency. This benefits such Friends considerably.

Although Ms Ash would have had her salary paid by CaRT, it could be argued that her free holidays substituted for 'Director's remuneration'. Many company directors are paid something, if only expenses. Some are paid far more.

If CaRT cease to have a director in the Board of Drifters, will the discount continue?

The share holdings of CaRT in Drifters may not produce a dividend to CaRT, but the discount to 'Friends' certainly does.

Nothing is ever 'black and white' in matters such as this.
