THE Broads Authority will be throwing open the doors to its new state-of-the-art workshop and dockyard for its annual public meeting.

The event, which will run from 10am to 1.30 pm  on Saturday 29th June, will include two short presentations by Chief Executive, Dr John Packman, outlining the Authority's achievements during the past year and its future plans.

Specific projects

Each presentation, at 10.30 am and 12.30 pm will give the public the chance to ask questions.

Stands and displays will highlight specific projects, including the construction journey of the workshop, which has become the new hub of the Authority's construction and maintenance work. Both staff and members will be on hand to talk about their work.

Short trips aboard the Authority's new patrol launch, the Spirit of Breydon—somewhat different from a narrowboat cruise—will be offered free of charge.
