Spoilt for others

THERE are complaints about the state of the barbeque area at Tring on the Grand Union Canal, with the appliance filled with rubbish.

It can be seen from the photograph that there is no receptacle for boaters or the public to leave their rubbish, and whilst boaters can take theirs back to their boats, the public tend to leave it for others.

Perhaps it would be sensible to have a rubbish bin somewhere in the area by the barbeque.

Visit every day

One boater asks who is responsible for rubbish removal at the area that is near Tring Reservoirs at Bulbourne? He points out that Canal & River Trust have at least one vehicle every morning visit the compound by Marsworth Top Lock and again in the late afternoon.

He also points out that there are two large skips in the yard at Bulbourne, and it is difficult to see how they can't make a connection!

And the grass hasn't been cut for weeks!
