Police close Soar again at Leicester

THE police have closed the Limekiln Lock (43) at Leicester to navigation, but no reason has been given.

This in the second time the police have closed this area of the Leicester Section, Keith Gudgin reports.

Not known

The last time was when a child fell in the navigation at Aylestone Park and drowned. It is of course not known if this is a similar incident.

Only that boaters have been instructed not to use the navigation around the lock.

LATEST—The police have finished their investigations and the navigation is now open. Boaters can continue as normal. No futher information was given.
