Trent now open at Holme Lock

THE 'unexpected fault' with a sluice on Holme Lock has been repaired.

This means that boaters can now operate the Trent lock as normal.

Brewery Swing Bridge

The  part for the broken Brewery Swing Bridge on the Leeds & Liverpool was expected on Wednesday, but there is no intimation as to whether it has been received, Keith Gudgin reports.

So no knowledge if it is re-opened or not.

Trent & Mersey closed

Another bridge causing problems is Sideway Bridge (108) on the Trent & Mersey.

It had to be closed due to a strike by a vehicle that has caused problems.

A team are on site today assessing the damage.
