Still unable to locate the spare part

CRABTREE Swing Bridge on the Leeds & Liverpool will not be open for the festive season as promised.
The contractors have still been unable to locate the part that they tell is needed for the 'power issue' though searching since the 6th of this month—over two weeks ago, Keith Gudgin reports.
It was told the specialist contractors were returning to fix this today, but they have not arrived, so the Crabtree will be closed over the festive season.
Two stoppages
With the further leaking culvert at Foulridge Tunnel this means there are two stoppages on the Leeds & Liverpool.
Boaters intending to cruise this waterway over Christmas would do well to check that they avoid these two stoppages.
