THE last of the six broad locks on the Eastern end of the Trent & Mersey Canal at Stenson will be closed to navigation for three days later this month owing to repairs.
The lock will be closed to navigation on the Wednesday, Thursday and Friday the 20th to the 22nd Keith Gudgin tells us.

The top gate liners need replacing as the leakage has become worse, boaters complaining of water in their boats coming from the stream from the lock gates.
