THE West Midlands Waterway area of the Canal & River Trust has recognised that the best information it can get regarding areas of its waterways to dredge is from the people who use them—the boaters.
Intending to dredge the Birmingham & Fazeley Canal, it is looking forward to getting advice from boaters, so is holding a presentation of the proposed works on the canal, which will highlight its current areas of concern between Aston and Fazeley, Keith Gudgin tells us.
Boaters' views
To ensure it makes the most of the project it would welcome the opportunity for boaters to give their views on any issues on the ground/water, by attending the meeting, so that where possible, it can try to incorporate them into the project.
