I find it absolutely ludicrous that Cart is getting itself involved with mileposts on the Leeds & Liverpool yet insists upon using kilometres measuring distance.
The official measurement in this country notwithstanding pressure from those imbeciles at the EU is miles as every road user is aware, yet Cart in its dubious wisdom gives us distance in kilometres when referring to the 200 years old canals.
I don't see how it can be so two-faced on insisting on kilometres yet wanting to help install mileposts. Should it not be installing kilometre posts? Or better still revert to miles as all the guides still show.
