IT WAS ten years ago that property under flats was built at Coventry Basin, yet it has still not been occupied, failing to do so again at a further auction.
The property of over 4,000 square feet has been boarded-up since it was first built, and failed to reach a guide price of £80,000 when it was put up for auction last week, Roger Fox tells us.
Boarded up
The property, under residential flats at the Canal Basin, has been boarded up since it was first built ten years ago. The 4,410 square feet available had a guide price of £80,000 and even though on a long lease of 115 years and a fixed ground rent of £1,000 a year it failed to sell.
The property is by the planned Bishopgate development of shops and student blocks that will mean the demolition of the old Royal Mail sorting office in Bishop Street.
