To be held on the weekend of the 10th and 11th of August, the canal will be full of trade boats and the waterfront with stalls selling everything canal related Alan Tilbury tells us.

Boat trips

There will also by two trip boats operating on both days with the ‘Funion Bargee' moored providing free supervised play sessions for children.

Eight village venues close to the canal will also join in the activities with attractions including pony rides, a master blacksmith, a ‘have a go bell-tower!', a variety of food outlets, wood carving, laser arena, bars, rural craft demonstrations, companion dog show, vintage caravans, childrens' fairground and a World War II re-enactment.

For the more active there will be heritage walks and longer guided rambles to take part in over the weekend.
