Man died after resuscitation

THOUGH several people attempted CPR on a man who fell into the River Great Ouse at Bedford, it was in vain.

David Miller was dragged out of the river after he fell in off the Embankment and passers by attempted to save him, Alan Tilbury reveals.

Died later

He was rushed to Bedford South Wing Hospital, where he died later the same day.

The actual cause of death is not known, as he was resuscitated at the scene but died later, so the coroner is awaiting toxicology reports.
