Has anyone tried looking for basic boaters info on the new Canal & River Trust website?

Try typing in a canal feature—e.g. 'Harecastle Tunnel'—the top of the returned search list is:
http://canalrivertrust.org.uk/directory/7/harecastle-tunnel
Which is fascinating if you want read about the history—but hopeless if you want to know, as I did, the winter opening schedule. No links on that page either.

What if you want a boaters guide?
I typed in the search box 'regents+canal+boaters+guide'
What comes up? http://canalrivertrust.org.uk/waterway-guides says 'Waterway guides will be on the Canal & River Trust's website soon.  In the meantime you can download a boaters' guide from waterscape.com'...!

Is this website 'shamateurism'? Or is it further evidence that someone isn't bothered about navigation and boaters—just making the canals into sentimental and pretty spots for volunteering nature lovers?
