More BW assets sold off

THE assets of eight canal side cottages are to be sold-off by British Waterways, most of them this month.

Though some are still tenanted, with two exceptions, all are to be auctioned  on the 13th of February, Peter Lloyd tells us.

Oxford Canal

Those being auctioned on the 13th include the lock cottage at Hillmorton (pictured) and two at Kidlington on the Oxford Canal, Bridge House at Gloucester on the Gloucester & Sharpness Canal and Diglis Wharf House at Worcester on the Worcester & Birmingham Canal.

The lock cottage at Middlewich on the Trent & Mersey Canal will be auctioned on the 15th February and a cottage at Trevor on the Llangollen Canal will be auctioned on the 29th March, if not sold privately.
