Well earned?

THE hotel boat section of the Association of Pleasure Craft Operators has awarded their Lock Keeper of the Year award for 2009/10 to the Liverpool Link Team.

This time it was to five of them, who make up the team that take boaters through the Liverpool Link, Alan Tilbury tells us.

Support and assistance

Recipients are nominated and voted for by  hotel boat operators that 'recognise the support and assistance they receive from the people working on the ground' as they cruise the waterways.

This year it was presented at the association's recent national AGM, held at Albert Dock in Liverpool!
