Nothing clear with the diesel

IT SEEMS that the suppliers of diesel to the canal side sellers are still in a quandary about the new bio diesel.

Though some sellers are being supplied with added FAME, others are not, with Andy Garside of Shobnall Boat Services on the Trent & Mersey Canal telling us that at present he is being supplied with low sulphur gas oil with no added FAME (bio diesel).

He has been told that from the 1st January 2012 they will be supplying him with gas oil with FAME added.  However he was told that the refiners were still arguing against this.

It's all another example of the politicians making silly decisions with absolutely no concept of the consequences.
