Houses at Willow Grange

WILLOW Grange, the former headquarters of British Waterways was opened as a new housing complex yesterday (Thursday).

The new complex, which was  opened by Watford Borough Council Chairman Alan Burtenshaw, comprises of 40 new homes, that are available for rent, with the chairman explaining:

"The days of social housing being inferior are long gone. These homes are another example of this."

The Victorian manor house (pictured) is still there, which was extended by British Waterways when it was its headquarters, and added a large ornamental fish pond in 1990.
