This making the venue on the Lancaster Canal difficult to run by its owners Andy and Annette Dawson, who have run the business since 2020.
Andy tells that his wife and co-owner Annette works full-time as an accountancy lecturer at Bolton College, and his daughter, Lizzie, now works for a university, making running the business difficult.
Stopped doing food
Andy is sorry to have upset his customers with stopping doing food, but this was no longer possible, so he has put the café up for sale.
The original asking price has been significantly reduced as that providing food will have to be resumed by new owners, it being stopped resulting in a lower turnover.
Bridge 64 is still in business however seven days a week.
