AUBREY'S LIFT BRIDGE 221 ON THE OXFORD CANAL is closed again.

This is possibly caused by an electrical fault, as it was on the 4th July then closing the waterway.

And there is still the stoppage at Aynho Lock 33 that is having its gates replaced, which, it was told, will not be completed until early October.
As to the present stoppage, the trust's team attended yesterday, Wednesday, to assess the situation.
Latest—The bridge has been reset and is now operating normally with navigation reopened.
