A BROKEN COLLAR HAS STOPPED navigation on the Wakefield Branch of the Aire & Calder Navigation.
This is on Woodnook Lock 6, Keith Gudgin reports.
This means that the gates are unable to be operated.
Longer than 24 hours
The broken collar occurred yesterday, Thursday, and we are told that it will take longer than 24 hours to repair.
But it could possibly be fixed in time for the weekend.
