The Summit Tunnel Galton to Brasshouse Lane Bridge at Smethwick is closed, Keith Gudgin reports.
An embankment fire and smoke has led to the closure of the navigation and towpath from Summit Tunnel Galton to Brasshouse Lane Bridge, at Smethwick.
There are no further details of the actual fire.
