THERE WERE TWO LOCK failures yesterday, Thursday.
One on the Huddersfield Narrow Canal and another on the Kennet & Avon Canal, Keith Gudgin reports.
The stoppage on the Huddersfield was due to a paddle failure at Lock 3W, with navigation currently closed with the trust telling it is going to investigate investigate the cause and plan the necessary repair.

The second closure is on the Kennet & Avon Canal at Pulteney Gardens Lock 12.
This time the failure is caused by an issue with a gate, but not informed what is the issue.
With out told that our colleagues are scheduled to attend site tomorrow, Friday, to undertake further investigation.
