THE FINAL WINNER LAST YEAR of the River Canal Rescue competition has been announced.
The competition was run monthly to celebrate the company's 25th year of it's rescue service.
The winner of the December competition ran with River Canal Rescue was Marc Hartley, who has chosen a silver membership, worth £245, as his prize.
Marc's narrowboat Button End is moored at Cathedral Marina, Ely, on the river Great Ouse.
Every month a selection of prizes were up for grabs—just a matter of answering a question that was changed every month throughout the year.
There were worthwhile prizes offered with the competition run online us included and in magazines and proved extremely popular.
The prizes were–RCR Engine Maintenance Course places (£300 ); RCR Membership (£205- £335); Vouchers for Midland Chandlers (£100); BilgeAway Filter (£99) and Engine Maintenance Books (£30).
It was simply a correct answer to the question to win.
