THERE IS ONE broad beam in the shape of a dutch barge that managed to miss all the many closed waterways.
The crew took it to sea, Janet Friend reports.
Rounding the lighthouse
It was spotted rounding the lighthouse at Portand Bill at dusk on Tuesday evening, captured by the photograph by BillWatch.
Named Tell Us Tomorrow it was discovered that it was on its way to Falmouth.
Many on social media captured the vessel as it glided past on a calm sea, with absolutely no possibility of it being grounded by lack of water, as are so many others using the more mundane inland waterways.
One social media user explained that having sailed round this headland a few times in the past, that barge would not be my choice of vessel!
Canal more suited
BillWatch replied—it is unusual for sure. A canal would be more suited.
Not at the moment it wouldn't!
