Plot of land by Leicester Section sold

A SMALL PLOT of land by the Leicester Section in the city by Little Glen Bridge has been sold.

This 0.14 of an acre was described as a 'rare opportunity' by auctioneers, Janet Friend reports.

The listing was sold from the SDL Property Auctions' catalogue in late June with it being suggested it could be used for boat moorings, though it has very little frontage to the waterway and would need consent from Canal & River Trust.

Low cost investment

It is understood that it has no permission for buildings, but the frontage was offered as a 'low cost investment'.
