And not all lack of water related, Keith Gudgin reports.

Beam failure

A beam failure has closed the Birmingham & Fazeley Canal with it breaking at Aston Lock 10.

Old Main Line Wolverhampton Lock Flight we are told by a boater is now closed, through lack of water but not confirmed.

The work on Itchington Bottom Lock 13 on the Grand Union Canal where a collar needs replacing has had to be extended with the navigation closed.

Boats grounding

Boats are grounding on the West side of Tottenham Lock 17 on the Lee Navigation.

The Leicester Section is closed between locks 42 and 43 through lack of water.
