It is not vandals!

ALL TOO OFTEN Canal & River Trust blame vandals for the lack of the water levels in pounds, but it is little more than an excuse.

As our man at the summit, Howard Clarke, writes:

'The leak still as bad as ever, at Lock 42 on the summit that is empty by the morning.

Insist it's vandals

CaRT staff and volunteers still insist it's vandals leaving paddles and gates open that causes low water levels.

Most of the locks on the flight leak in the same way. Reservoir levels are still surprisingly good.'
