A PLOT OF LAND by the side of the Leicester Section of the Grand Union Canal is up for sale.

This is situated next to Little Glen Bridge in Glen Parva in Leicester, Janet Friend reports.

It is described as a 'rare opportunity' by auctioneers SDL Property Auctions and is up for sale on Thursday 26th June.

Scope for development

The sale listing describes the site as believed to be approximately 0.14 acres but has not been measured, with the auctioneers believing that the land may offer scope for development or even boat moorings are possible, subject to any required consents.

It is stated that the land with its canal frontage is a low cost investment and is in a convenient location for local amenities within Glen Parva and South Wigston.

The land is at present set with a guide price of £15,000 plus fees and all details can be seen in the auctioners' web site.
