Events run from April to October:
5-21 April—Easter Egg Trail—Tues to Saturday plus all Easter Weekend. £1.50 per clue sheet.
26 April—Whittling Workshop—10-4pm. Go foraging and learn the craft of whittling. £50 per person. Booking essential.
10 May—Canal Roses Workshop—1--4pm. Try your hand at painting canal roses. £35 per person.
Booking essential.24 May—Woodland Walks and Nature Trail—go bug hunting and take a guided walk. 11-4pm FREE.
19 June—Wire Wrapped Jewellery Workshop—12-4pm. £45 per person. Booking Essential.
21 June—Teddy Bear's Picnic—12-2pm. FREE.
19 July—Crafts on the Canal—Try your hand at canal related crafts. 11-4pm. FREE.
16 August—How the Canals were Built—11-4pm. FREE.
20 September—Pirate Day—11-4pm. FREE.
25 October—Halloween Trail—Pumpkin Trail. 10-4pm. £1.50 per clue sheet.
The Canal Museum, the first of its kind in the country, is located in the pretty canal village of Stoke Bruerne along the Grand Union Canal. A historic Grade II listed corn mill, it offers three floors of rich waterway heritage and panoramic views.
