Fantastic start to Hannah's Hope Charity

THE Hannah's Hope Charity have had a fantastic start at the marina being well supported by Mercians and visitors alike, helping them towards their target.

DirtyMerciaHannah Roberts received a prestigious BBC Make a Difference Award for her fundraising efforts presented by various celebrities at a high-brow event at Pride Park in Derby, tells Merci a Marina.

Foodbank Ambassador Neil Potter’s latest fundraising persona Captain Rooster the foodbank booster was tried out at the local village. The BBC are going to be joining Neil when he collects again for the CVS Foodbank, on Friday the 25th October, on the Village Green Findern.RoosterMercia

Jo James organised a Macmillan cancer support coffee morning cake and bake event on the common ground by the Meadow Lodges at Mercia. It was a great success with music, a quiz and of course lots of cake. The efforts raised more than £800 for Macmillan!
