Another marina gets permission for resident moorers

THE trend these days with marinas is to get residential status, allowing for an higher income.
Wigram's Turn Marina at the junction of the Oxford and Grand Union canals is the latest to get residential status for both narrowboats and wide beams.
Services
The required services included are storage boxes, laundry facilities and showers.
Included in the charges is a weekly wash in a new laundry facility, a pump-out every month and a discount card for shops. There is now a customer lounge, and it states high-speed WI-FI.
At the moment the marina is offering a complimentary two nights stay for anyone interested in mooring at the marina as a way to discover what is offered. There is an open day on Saturday 21st September.
