Cashless on the tidal Trent

NO LONGER will cash be accepted for payment of boating items at the tidal Trent locks.
Canal & River Trust have gone cashless for payment of items at Cromwell, (pictured) Torksey and Boston Lock sites, Keith Gudgin reports.
Quickly and easily
This, it states is to allow customers to pay for their boating items quickly and easily, and will include such things as electricity prepayment cards, pump out cards, TBA Guides for tidal and non tidal Trent and waterway keys.
It comes into force on the 1st April, after which no cash payments will be accepted.
