Good news for the Coventry

ATHERTON Flight on the Coventry Canal was listed as being closed from the 5th to the 12th of August, but will not be closed after all.

It was mistakenly listed in the water resources email sent out to boaters on Friday 5th August as being closed, Keith Gudgin reports.

Restriction

But it has now been confirmed that it will only be a restriction,

To conserve water the opening times will be an early 6:30am to 3:30pm with the locks closed at 5pm.
