Open Weekend again at White Mills Marina

WHITE Mills Marina on the Nene is hosting its Open Weekend after missing last year.

Like others, the Earls Barton marina had no option but to miss its annual Open Weekend last year owing to coronavirus, but has one scheduled for the weekend of the 4th and 5th of September.

The good news however for last year was that it scooped Towergate’s Inland Marina of the Year award, though it was unable to host any weekend events.

Now however, with restrictions finally lifted, the marina is wasting little time in arranging an Open Day for the Autumn, with its Operations Manager, Gary Butcher, commenting:

Frustrating

“It was incredibly frustrating for all of us last year to cancel our open weekends, however we are putting that behind us and looking forward to welcoming boaters to our award winning marina, and being able to show everyone what makes our marina on the Nene so special.”
