Rubbish piling up

ALL over the system rubbish is not being cleared by the contractor Biffa.

The photograph of the rubbish disposal facility at Sutton Stop by Brian D Jarrett at the junction with the Coventry and Oxford canals is becoming more and more typical.

Expect this situation

Brian remarks that with more and more refuge disposal points being removed or made smaller on the system one can only expect this situation particularly, in popular locations like Sutton Stop.

On our own cruise in September we too noticed the build-up of rubbish, publishing a photograph of the pile-up of waste at Autherley Junction disposal unit, then a further photograph after it had been 'cleared' still showing rubbish strewn about and bins not emptied.
