Man arrested on suspicion of rape on towpath

A WOMAN in her 30's was 'subjected to a serious sexual assault' on the towpath by a lock.
A 19 years old man has been arrested on suspicion of the attack that took place by Millmead Lock at Guildford on the Wey, Alan Tilbury reports.
Cordon around towpath
The attack took place after 11.30pm on Monday, 21st September, with the police erecting a cordon around the area of the towpath the following day.
A forensics team appeared combing the area within the cordon, with markers on the ground.
The man has been released on bail.
