Better at K&A Caen Hill Flight

IT has been decided that there will be occasional opening of the Caen Hill Flight on the Kennet & Avon, and not closed as Canal & River Trust first stated..

The original information was that after Friday's opening the flight it would remain closed, but the water supply situation has improved notwithstanding the loss of a pump, so boats will be able to use the flight daily though at restricted times, Keith Gudgin reports.

Boats are being allowed to clear Caen Hill Flight from 10am with the last entry at 1pm to clear by 4pm, providing the water situation remains constant.
