Body on towpath

THE police are investigating the body of a woman found on a canal towpath.

The woman was discovered on the towpath of the Oxford Canal in Banbury on Saturday with her death being treated as 'unexplained' by the police, Keith Gudgin reports.

In her 30's

It was a member of the public who found the victim, believed to be in her 30's, on the towpath near the town centre.

The police have questioned the boaters along the moorings and are asking for anyone with any information to come forward.
