Free engine courses at Crick

Published: Wednesday, 22 May 2019

RIVER Canal Rescue (RCR) and its subsidiary Key Diesels is offering free practical engine sessions at Crick Show.

These will include how to bleed engines and get hands-on with a working engine, learn more about the internals from a cut-away version and see what a remanufactured engine looks like.

Four places per 30 minutes session.

Running over the three days of Crick, 25th to 27th  May. four places are available per 30 minute session.

RCR is also running a competition, giving away its recently-launched Bilgeaway filter; a product it describes as ‘the world’s first truly environmentally-friendly bilge discharge filter’, as featured in narrowboatworld.

Buy the filter

Bilgeaway extracts contaminants from bilge water, renders them non-reactive and leaves the contents in a cartridge which can be disposed of and the housing re-used. A 10 inch filter is usually £149, including vat, and installation’s included in the prize.

Visit RCR in the Waterways World Boating Marquee, stand WW16-18, sign up for an engine slot and enter the Bilgeaway give-away.
