Help from the Co-op

THE Buckingham Canal Society has received help from the local Co-op Local Community Fund.

This is in the form of funding created by receiving 1% of the value of all own brand products and services purchased from the company.

Runs for 12 months

It has been chosen to receive the funding starting from last Sunday until the end of October Co-op Local Community Fund, with members choosing the cause for the funds.

The Co-op Local Community Fund helps to support local projects that its members care about. Since its launch in 2017, Co-op members have raised £39 millions for over 12,000 local causes.
