Blacklisted for asking about illegal fees

I THINK anyone with a CaRT business licence should be aware of the following legislation that is still in force, especially the last paragraph, advises Richard Churchill.

1971 British Waterways Act.

Section 10. The Board may from time to time resolve that as from such date or dates as may be determined by the Board the classification of pleasure boats shall be sub-divided and may from time to time fix the appropriate registration charges to be paid in respect of the pleasure boats included in each sub-division:

Provided that such charges shall not exceed the appropriate prescribed charges in respect of such pleasure boats.

Blacklisted for asking!

Perhaps they might ask CaRT why they have been illegally charged extra for their licence, in the case of a roving trader around £65p/a. I have asked CaRT but have received no answer, and been told 'please do not contact us about it anymore because any such communications will not be responded to'.

My email address is now blacklisted by CaRT, so that if I contact any staff member my email is diverted to the one enforcement officer who wrote the above. It seems despite what they claim the Trust is not an open organisation.
