Sunken boat at lock

BOATERS are asked to be aware of a sunken boat at Sir Frank Price Lock on the Sheffield & South Yorkshire Navigations.

The boat has sunk on the moorings at the top side of what was formerly Eastwood Lock, but is not stopping navigation, Keith Gudgin tells us.

Third boat

This is the third sunken boat we have been made aware of so far this year, the two other boats being in sorry state of repairs, but the condition of this boat is not known.
