Why no investigation?

IT SEEMS remarkable that the police in Manchester admit to 28 unexplained deaths in the canals of the city, but are doing nothing about them, writes Paul Ellis.

I live in Manchester not far from the Rochdale Nine, and like many others believe that the police owe it to the residents of the area to take this matter seriously, and find out who is responsible, for 28 canal deaths in such a small area must have an explanation, but it seems they do not want to know.

Gays involved

Many of us believe that with Gays being very much involved the police are not concerned.  But how different it was with the Yorkshire Police when women were targeted by who was known as the Yorkshire Ripper.  All the stops were pulled out, though here again I remember the man was interviewed more than once and missed but they eventually arrested him.

Why isn't there that level of concern in Manchester?  I believe the question answers itself.
