Email: The dredge pledge

It is necessary to cruise beyond Birmingham to see where CaRT are dredging.

During recent months cruising I have watched and taken photos of several CaRT dredging projects including the Caldon Canal, Slough Arm, Northampton Arm and the Birmingham Main Line North out of Birmingham. All very costly projects due to having to transport the spoil by lorry to distant disposal sites. The Slough Arm spoil had to be taken by lorry to Peterborough.

I also recall many more CaRT dredging achievements in the waterways press.

Well done Mr Parry's CaRT, his dredging record is a great improvement on BW.
